ONLINE CURRICULUM DEVELOPER AND TEACHER
Nimbus Christian Education is seeking Course Developers and Teachers to develop online courses for use in Ontario, Canada and teach with a Christian Worldview. This is a definite part time flexible position.

Specific Courses for Development:
  • Issues in Canadian Geography, Grade 9, Academic, (CGC1D)
  • Healthy Active Living Education, Grade 9, Open (PPL1O)
  • Career Studies, Grade 10, Open (GLC2O)
  • The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC/OLC4O), Grade 12
Additional areas of study for future development: Art, Business, Drama, Music, Geography and History.

Expectations:
  • Collaborate with a team of Christian educators from across Canada.
  • Develop all content required for an online course: Record video lessons, create assignments/projects and create assessments and evaluations along with answer keys.
  • Ensure that the resources developed focus on meeting the expectations of the Growing and Success document as required by the Ministry of Education.
  • Ensure intentional implementation of appropriate Christian Worldview.
  • Engage in an ongoing review process to improve the course over time.
  • Teach the course online.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ontario College of Teachers, Christian School Teacher Certificate, or equivalent.
  • Degree or experience in the relevant subject area.
It would be beneficial if the applicant has:
  • Taken, taught and/or created online courses.
  • Created a locally developed course for approval by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
  • Taught in a flipped classroom or blended format classroom.
  • Used Google Apps for Education.
  • Used Moodle and/or worked in a virtual workplace.

ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER
Nimbus Christian Education is seeking Christian Teachers for grade 9-12 online courses for use in Ontario, Canada. We welcome applicants in all subject areas that have a heart for applying a Christian Worldview in teaching. Currently, there are key areas of need: Music, Drama, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Politics, and Mathematics. This is a possible part time flexible position.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ontario College of Teachers, Christian School Teacher Certificate, or equivalent.
  • Degree or experience in the relevant subject area.
It would be beneficial if the applicant has:
  • Taken, taught and/or created online courses.
  • Taught in a flipped classroom or blended format classroom.
  • Used Google Apps for Education.
  • Used Brightspace by D2L or Moodle.
  • Worked in a virtual workplace.

RECRUITER
Nimbus Christian Education is currently in need of zealous champions of Christian Education to recruit students to join our growing community. This commissioned based position includes the flexibility to define your hours and work remotely.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively recruit new students.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keep administration informed by submitting timely reports.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Be a Bible Believing Christian
  • Demonstrate strong passion for Christian education
  • Have strong customer service and sales skills
  • Be willing to develop deep product knowledge
  • It would be beneficial if the applicant has:
  • Taken online courses.
  • A working knowledge of Google Apps.
  • Worked in a virtual workplace.
