Meet Our English and Art Teacher - Catharine Kruitbosch
At Nimbus we are blessed to have educators on our team that truly help our students achieve their goals. Today we are pleased to introduce another tremendous teacher that is passionate about teaching students with a Christian worldview. Meet Catharine Kruitbosch!
In 2012, Catharine received her Bachelor of Education along with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Studies minoring in French and English Language and Literature from Brock University. She has held various teaching positions in both public and private schools.
Currently Catharine is teaching English and Art classes for grades 6, 8, 9 and 10. In addition to Nimbus, Catharine currently works as an Occasional Teacher with the District School Board of Niagara as well as Jordan Christian School.
Catharine enjoys her role at Nimbus because of the ability to have a more personalized approach for each student. She cautions students not to assume that an online course will be easier than in-person. While it can make the learning easier for some students, Catharine says it’s simply a different experience and approach, but with the same depth and variety. In addition, Catharine recommends that students take the time to explore the learning platforms and the online learning tools available, “...never ever hesitate to ask questions or reach out if you are having trouble navigating how to make your way through each learning experience.”
