Nimbus Community Prayer - March 2021
Today I wrote the word March for the first time this year. It caught me off guard since the end of this month means we’re already one quarter of the way through 2021. Maybe that is encouragement for you. Maybe you’ve completed many tasks and accomplished much so far. Maybe it’s daunting, that time is moving quickly and you are struggling to keep up. Maybe it means there is much more for you to do this year. Maybe the news that we are coming up on the end of our first quarter is disappointing. Maybe you have broken resolutions, not met your goals, or feel like you’ve just been stuck.
Wherever you find yourself at the start of this month, I hope you remember to pray. In preparation for our community prayer this week, I’m encouraged by James 5:13-15:
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
A song that encourages me to always return to Christ in prayer and praise is Desert Song by Hillsong. Perhaps it will be an encouragement to you this month as well.
Nimbus community prayer will be held on Tuesday, March 2, at 8:30 EST. If you would like to join us, send an email to office@nimbuseducation.ca to receive the log in details. If you are unable to join us, you can still send requests for prayer by email.
May God bless you as you come to Him in prayer,
Tiffany Muresan
