Exploring Accredited Courses with Christian Educators
As technology continues to evolve, there are so many opportunities to engage in online learning. However, investing in your child’s education means more than just meeting provincial standards in a virtual environment. Quality online courses taught by like-minded Christians provide an essential balance to academic and spiritual success.
Completing accredited courses that are recognized by the province and post secondary schools can build a solid transcript. Regardless of the path a student decides to take after high school, having a strong transcript will support their endeavours. In addition to hard work and motivation, how a subject matter is taught is a crucial element to achieving success. Teachers who share your family’s faith in God will unashamedly exhibit the fruit of the spirit to support your children as they navigate through each course. Their professional expertise is naturally interwoven with biblical principles for daily guidance.
When Christian students and teachers engage in a course neither one should leave their values aside for the sake of academics. Through each stage of learning students require godly leadership to guide them toward their goals. No matter what they are studying, having a godly teacher is another opportunity to reinforce the importance of Christian values in daily life.
At Nimbus Christian Education, we know how important it is for parents to find the right balance between quality online education and their family values. That’s why we continually strive to provide opportunities for students to thrive without compromise.
Over the last couple of months our team has been working fervently to provide access to additional accredited courses facilitated by Christian educators. Beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, there will be even more courses provided through Nimbus which align with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) requirements. That means, if your student is missing a credit, or perhaps they would like to ‘reach ahead’ by taking a higher level course, they can do so! There are also some students that may want to take a course again to increase their grade to be considered for a particular post secondary program. Courses can be started at any time and our qualified Christian educators are dedicated to helping each student achieve their goals.
Here are just some of the the compulsory credit courses that are available:
