Nimbus Remains Operational During the Covid-19 School Closures
As we continue to navigate through the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nimbus Christian Education WILL continue to operate during the school closures.
Since we operate primarily within an online environment, our students can seamlessly continue their courses after March Break. For many of our students and their families, there will be no change in how our courses operate. If you are a homeschooling parent you will continue to operate as normal.
However, for students taking a course through a partner school or organization, the support usually provided through that facility will likely no longer be available during the Covid-19 closures. Please look to your email accounts for contact from your teachers about how these changes may occur. REMINDER: Students have been assigned Nimbus email accounts that should be checked regularly.
Here are some changes that may occur in order to continue with your child's education:
Communication Expectations
We endeavour to add a sense of stability for our students by keeping their courses active during this time of uncertainty. Although we don’t know what the future holds, we serve a mighty God that is still in control. May the peace of God continue to comfort you and your loved ones regardless of the circumstance.

Communication Expectations
- All communication with Nimbus teachers will be through email or video chat. In some cases a teacher was present in the bricks and mortar classroom to work with students. This will no longer be possible. Parents may find it necessary to provide more support to students.
- Make use of the GradeSlam tutoring service that most of our students have access to. This tutoring is available 24/7 online at all times. NOTE: There is a tutorial in the course your child is taking that explains how to access and use this service if they have forgotten how.
- Assistance is required with printing, uploading, and downloading some assignments.
- Parents will be asked to administer some tests.
- Exams will be proctored by someone other than a family member; but, it may be necessary for the family to arrange a proctor for the exam.
