Working From Home & Praying Together

This school year has been very different from previous ones. With so many changes and challenges, sometimes it is hard to even know what to pray for. As the school year marches onward, we may be finding ourselves fatigued with the familiarity of working from home. This is a reality so many of us are facing this year.

While we may not be able to gather together in person to pray and join in community, we can be thankful for the technology that connects us and the Holy Spirit that unites us.

Consider these lines from A Prayer for Working From Home:

As I rely on technology to traverse the world outside my dwelling,
let your Holy Spirit minister to the souls and bodies I email and call.
Though I am absent in the flesh, make others present with you through me.

How Can We Pray for You?

The Nimbus community will be meeting online on December 1st at 8:30 p.m.(EST) for a special time of prayer. If you have a specific prayer request, please send an email to: office@nimbuseducation.ca.

You can also join with us in praying for:
  • Continued strength and diligence for our students and staff as we work together.
  • Encouragement for the Church as Sunday services look very different - especially as we approach Christmas.
  • Continued health and safety for staff and student families throughout the school year.
  • Wisdom for the board of directors and our principal, Alex van Donkersgoed, in regards to future direction for Nimbus.
  • Reaching our fundraising goal of $25,000.

"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us."

1 John 5:14 (ESV)
