To meet the growing needs of all students, our faculty includes various experienced individuals. Ronald’s passion for education stemmed from teaching in Sunday School and speaking from the pulpit as a lay minister in both French and English. He graduated from Athabasca University with a Bachelor of General Studies in Business and French. Ronald went on to study Education, then History, graduating with a Masters in Education and a Masters in Arts from Royal Military College. Online courses can be convenient and easy to access, but quality control is essential. For students learning remotely it is imperative to maintain high standards of quality to ensure their academic needs are effectively met. In this fast paced technological world, it may seem like we have access to the most updated content on any given subject matter. However, simply having quick online access to information does not guarantee that it is accurate. Online learning can be challenging if the information you need is not readily available. The same can be true for outdated information that is easily accessible online. There is often a misconception with younger students who assume that if it’s online then it must be accurate. Students who are learning a new concept or researching for an assignment rely heavily on the internet for information. HE IS RISEN!

As we celebrate the amazing grace of Jesus’ death and resurrection, let's also reflect on this premise: God is who He says He is, and He does what He says He’ll do. Christ told His disciples what would happen that first Easter, although they did not understand it at the time. As the Old Testament foretold, Christ died and rose again! Hallelujah! The Bible also says that He hears and answers prayer. Those of us who have been gathering to pray for the Nimbus community can certainly testify that God does hear and He does answer prayer. May you be encouraged this month to hear some of the ways God has answered prayers in our community: Spiritually: we have seen peace, joy, and grace grow in difficult, unexpected situations. Financially: we have seen God’s providence meet specific financial needs. Physically: we have seen healing and quick recoveries, aided by skillful doctors.
